WHO WE ARE

 

Hi, we are Doreen & Joe. We live in Leipzig and share not only our enthusiasm for India, but above all our love for Indian Masala Chai.

​

Joe lived in Mumbai, India for a while for professional reasons and learned to love Chai in the process. Daily breaks at the masala chai stand were just as much a part of it as the lentils with the dal.

 

Doreen traveled through India for 2 months, stayed mainly in the north & replaced  her coffee habit with Chai during a yoga teacher training. And she didn't miss anything.

As our paths crossed in Leipzig, the topic of India and our mutual love for Masala Chai quickly came up. We both were in search of a natural pick-me-up with an authentic Indian taste, but unfortunately it couldn't be found in tea bags, so we started experimenting with different ingredients.

 

After many adjustments & tastings until we were ready to drop, our final product was finally created, and of course, we couldn't keep it to ourselves!
